President Obama Tells Jimmy Fallon He Doesn't Watch Much TV ... But What About 'Homeland,' 'Modern Family' And 'Boardwalk Empire?' (VIDEO)

Did President Obama Flip-Flop On Being A TV Fan?

President Obama revealed his viewing habits to Jimmy Fallon during a special "Late Night" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC) taping at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

"I don't get a chance to watch a lot of TV and a lot of movies these days," the president admitted. But what about when he told People Magazine that he watches "Modern Family," "Homeland," and "Boardwalk Empire?" Which is it, Mr. President?

Obama told Fallon that if he did have the time, he'd watch a comedy like "Groundhog Day."

"Which," he laughed, gesturing to the audience, "came out before these guys were born."

"Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
