In an effort to get the word out about their latest fundraising drive, Chicago public radio station WBEZ has turned to the tried-and-true Internet traffic generator: The cat video.
"Research tells us that cute cat videos make people happy," the video introduction reads. "Happy people donate."
Next, the video segues to the voice of Peter Sagal, portrayed by a yellow-eyed black domestic shorthair, commencing the lightning round of "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me" in front of a red curtain. Sagal is playing with "Paula Poundstone," featured in the form of an adorable grey cat. At one point in the video, they simply begin to lick and rub their faces against their microphones.
Judging by the "s" at the end of the drive's URL, we are looking forward to more cat-themed videos coming down the pike from WBEZ.
