Mario Lopez says "DWTS" all-star edition is in the works.

"Dancing with the Stars: All Stars?" According to Mario Lopez, it's happening!

While co-hosting "Live With Kelly" on Wednesday, Lopez let it slip that he was approached for an all-star edition of "Dancing With the Stars" (Mondays at 8 p.m. ET and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC).

"You know what, Kelly? They're doing 'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars' next season," Lopez said. "They called me to do it."

ABC isn't commenting on the rumor Lopez started, but some "Dancing" vets, like the show's current co-host Brooke Burke, are excited about the prospect.

"100 percent yes," Burke said on Rachael Ray, when asked if she would head back to the show as a contestant given the option. "I haven't danced ballroom since I left the show, I would love to. And being on the show, it just makes me wants to dance again."
