Nick Pitera's 'One Man Newsies: Disney's Newsies Broadway Medley' (VIDEO)

Nick Pitera is known in the world of viral videos for his ridiculous vocal range and covers of wildly popular artists and songs like Whitney Houston, Phil Collins and Justin Beiber. More appropriately, the Pixar animator is also known for his more theatrical covers like "A Whole New World" from Disney's "Aladdin."

His most recent contribution, "One Man Newsies: Disney's Newsies Broadway Medley," pays tribute to Disney's Broadway musical "Newsies." This guy's talent is astonishing and "One Man Newsies: Disney's Newsies Broadway Medley" is yet another example of it. The timely release covers songs from the musical in a tiled screen with ten Piteras contributing to a different vocal role.

Newsies is an awful Broadway play. I'd rather watch Starlight Express back to back ten consecutive times than watch Newsies again.

Many people would care to differ. Also it's not a play but a musical with some amazing choreography, hence the Tony Award for Best Choreography. The music is well written. Staging is done in a very unique and exciting manner through the use of the fire escapes. I could go on and on but I shall refrain.

If you haven't seen it, then try to go watch it.
If you have seen it, I'm sorry that you didn't like it.

LOVE Nick Pitera! What took you so long to do an article on him?! This video is great, but his one-man Disney and one-man Phantom of the Opera are AMAZING!
