Mitt Romney Campaigning At School That Received Stimulus Funds

Mitt Romney is set to campaign at Otterbein College on Friday for an event that his campaign is describing as a roundtable with graduating students. And in a bit of pre-framing for the event, a Democratic source noted in an email that the school is the recipient of a $80,000-plus grant from the federal government, as part of President Barack Obama's Recovery Act.

The grant was to provide work-study funding for students. It was awarded in July 2009, meaning that there are likely to be event attendees who benefited from the funds. Whether Romney will criticize the stimulus funding during the event is unclear. But there certainly is some ammo on the table for the Obama campaign to use, should he choose to go down that route.
