The remix and sampling potential of Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" seems endless. The newest to hit the internet is by Smims&Belle featuring Azealia Banks.
The hyped-up house remix is more of a sample than a remix; featuring a majority of raps from Banks. Banks is an incredible artist and her raps add enough edge to bring the track down from its electronic high horse. The grimy raps and laser techno make it is easy to imagine the track playing in a dank, laser-filled basement.
Smims&Belle is made up of Mark Foster and Isom Innis from Foster the People. The duo released "Blue Jeans" as the first track in their DJ endeavor, and it's looking good so far.
