'This Is 40' Trailer: Paul Rudd And Leslie Mann Have Fun(.) For Judd Apatow

WATCH: Judd Apatow's 'This Is 40' Gets Fun(.) Trailer

"I've made a list. It's the Do-Better List," says Leslie Mann to Paul Rudd in the debut trailer for "This Is 40," Judd Apatow's first directorial effort since "Funny People" in 2009. "We're 40 years old. If we're not going to do it now, when are we going to do it?"

Such is the question of life as presented by "This Is 40," a self-described "sort-of-sequel" to Apatow's biggest hit, "Knocked Up." The new film focuses on Debbie and Pete (Mann and Rudd), the sister and brother-in-law to Katherine Heigl's "Knocked Up" heroine, and features appearances from "Knocked Up" characters, like Jason Segel's Jason.

"It's about getting older," Mann said earlier this year. "What the hell happened? Am I making all the right choices? Is this where I'm supposed to be? Is this it? All of those dreams that you had when you were young, all of the possibilities, when you lock into marriage and kids, do the possibilities dwindle or go away?"

Judging from the trailer, the dreams go away -- unless you dream about inspecting your husband's taint.

"This Is 40," which features an all-star Apatowian cast that includes Chris O'Dowd, Melissa McCarthy and Lena Dunham among others, is out in theaters this Christmas. Watch the trailer above and get that fun. song stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Tonight, we are young, y'all!
