Scott Brown Makes Half-Court Shot During Stop At Community Center

Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) made a half-court shot during a stop at Hyannis Youth and Community Center In Hyannis, Massachusetts on Friday.

Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) made an impressive half-court shot while visiting a community center Friday afternoon.

Brown dropped by the Hyannis Youth and Community Center in Hyannis, Massachusetts to tour the facility and meet with third grade students from the Barnstable Community Horace Mann Public Charter School, according to Cape Cod Today.

After several students attempted shots, Brown took the ball and backed up to the center of the court. With an underhand throw, Brown launched the basketball, sinking it from the half-court line.

This isn't the first time Brown has wrapped sports into his political appearances. Brown recently appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" at Fenway Park decked in a Boston Red Sox jacket, where he pushed back at charges made by his rival Elizabeth Warren.

Elizabeth Warren claimed minority status (Native American, Cherokee) in teaching positions prior to Harvard. She was on the minority faculty list at University of Texas and the University of Pennsylvania. Once Warren joined the Harvard faculty, she dropped off the list of minority law faculty.

Was she being disingenuous in using a claim of Native American ancestry? You make the cal.

I see no coverage in Huffington on a major story in recent days in regard to Ms Warren, who as it now turns out was hired as a Professor at Harvard Law School 15 years ago due primarily to claiming remote Cherokee heritage. It was so important to HLS at the time they did various writeups about Ms Warren in various school publications, emphasizing the importance of her "minority' status to HLS,. the entire issue a few years later seemed to mysterously disappear as Ms Warren's name was removed around that time, without explanation, from the Minority Professors list

Currently Ms Warren is unable to provide even a shred of proof that she in fact has any connection to Cherokee tribes or any other native american tribe, nor have any experts been able to make any nexus when looking back on her family tree.

Being in thick with the Senate Republicans seems to have sharpened his under handed game. 

The voters of Massachusetts though will choose the true talent to represent them as a Senator and that's Elizabeth Warren. Not a half-time novelty act fronting for Big Business against the interests of the middle-class and women.
