"The Amazing Race": Mark and Bopper shave their heads for the Fast Forward

The latest leg of "The Amazing Race" (sun., 8 p.m. ET on CBS) saw the return of fan favorite challenge, the head shave.

Best friends Bopper and Mark were in last place in India so opted to chase the Fast Forward pass as their only real way of staying in the race. The price of the Fast Forward was to have their heads shaved.

Longtime "TAR" viewers will, of course, remember Season 7 racers -- and eventual champs -- Joyce and Uchenna having their heads shaved in India for the Fast Forward all the way back in 2005.

As the barbers went to work, Mark joked to Bopper that "you don't look as good as me, but you look good, bro."

So, did the close shave pay off for the Kentuckians? In a word, no. After narrowly dodging elimination for several legs they were again the last to arrive on the mat. "You are the last team to arrive," said Phil Keoghan, "and I'm very sorry to tell you that you've been eliminated from the race."

They took it pretty well and Bopper said that being on the race had opened his eyes. "I had no idea what I was missing out on," he told Phil.
