"Swamp Wars": Killer Bees Invade A Man's Home

On "Swamp Wars" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on Animal Planet) the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue's Venom One team helped one man and his dog after their home was overrun by a hive of "Africanized bees," a.k.a. "killer bees."

Examining a hole in the fascia on the facade of the house one team member estimated that there could be tens of thousands of bees living in the home.

After the homeowner had locked himself in the bathroom to escape the aggressive swarm, the Venom One team went in and rescued him and his dog, leading him out wearing a bee-proof suit.

"Swamp Wars" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Animal Planet.
