Does an electric car make sense for you? Well, it may depend on where you live. If the smokestack from your local power plant is emitting coal fumes, chances are the planet would be happier if you were in a hybrid. We love our all-electric car, and are happy with our purchase. We have adapted to living with the limitations, and feel good about the money we are saving while improving the environment. If you’re in the market for something new, I highly recommend that you buy an electric car! I found some real good ones here.

As long as you remember the quoted mileage figures for Hybrids, particularly the Prius and Civic, are just blatant lies. A Diesel Golf is better built, cheaper to buy, greener and much more economical to run and if you really want to be green keep the car you have. The worst polluting old junker does less environmental damage than the construction of a Hybrid.
