Restore Our Future, Mitt Romney Super PAC, Launching $4 Million Ad Buy In 9 States

BETH FOUHY   05/02/12 04:39 PM ET  AP

NEW YORK — An independent group backing Republican Mitt Romney's presidential candidacy has placed a $4.3 million advertising buy in nine battleground states.

Restore Our Future announced Tuesday it has bought television ad time in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada, Virginia and New Hampshire.

The group is run by former Romney aides. It was by far the biggest advertiser during the Republican presidential primary, spending more than $36 million on ads attacking Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich after each one emerged at different points as Romney's chief conservative rival.

The latest ad, "Saved," also ran during the primary season. It describes how Romney led efforts to rescue the 14-year-old daughter of a former colleague at Bain Capital after she disappeared in New York.

The "War on women" must be hurting Romney. All I can say is "Wow."

Romney may be Hollywood handsome, but from the debates he doesn't look too bright. And that flip-flopping has reached epidemic proportions.

Obama may have a silver tongue, but it seems to have a fork in it. Too many broken campaign promises. And whew, what was that smell when he floated the idea of bypassing Congress and ignoring the Supreme Court? Does anyone smell a "reluctant" tyrant in the wings.

The only candidate gutsy enough to slash the insane spending and relieve the "Debt Bubble" pressure is Ron Paul. You can't do that with Big Government, and Big Bullying overseas. He can eliminate Income Tax, IRS and the very Private and reckless "Fed," but keep a strong military and a sound Social Security system for those who depend on it.

Of all the candidates, only Ron Paul has decades of consistency in his record and a love of the Constitution backed up by his voting record.
