A German tattoo artist draws world news on a calfskin

The Chaos Crew Tattoo Studio in Munich, Germany loves to show off their incredible artistic talent.

And what better way to achieve that than with a tattoo of last year's most newsworthy events.

Drawn on a large piece of calfskin, the retrospective mural is a reminder that 2011 was one crazy year, notes PSFK and Juxtapoz.

From Occupy Wall Street to Greece's financial crisis to the Fukushima disaster and the death of Amy Winehouse and Steve Jobs, this massive tattoo doesn't miss much.

What irks me is when I see tattoos in Hebrew on people who can't read Hebrew. Using the language of the Kabbalah to create a defilement isn't merely not kosher but shameful.

That was really cool, but I never got a tattoo because when I was a kid, my great aunt had been one of the first women in the military and she had a tattoo of a butterfly on her size 40 DD breast. 40 years later it looked like a buzzard!

Distasteful. There is just something perverse about it. They used to make lampshades from the tattooed skin of concentration-camp inmates as priced war-memorabilia.
