It's hard to feel bad for Justin Timberlake, what with his hot fiance, that sense of humor and strange ability to succeed at basically everything he tries.
But the former 'NSYNC star does have one unfortunate problem: he can never escape his sartorial past. Timberlake recently to admitted Details:
"There were many moments in my teenage years where I succumbed to, um, the weirdness of the group I was in. And in trying to conform -- we're marionettes! -- I ended up looking like a moron."
It's OK, Justin. The 'NSYNC era (that is the "group" you're referring to, right?) was a hard time for all of us, style-wise -- while you were rocking those regrettable cornrows, we were attempting glittery eyeshadow, butterfly clips, Limited Too tops, denim overalls or some combination thereof.
Like us, Timberlake has come a long way, as evidenced by his current beauty routine, which he revealed in Details' May issue. (Spoiler alert: he really likes Kiehl's!) But the bleached hair, the tinted sunglasses and the double denim will live on forever. Even the coolest people can't escape their pasts.
