We know you're probably preparing yourselves for the season finales of some of your favorite shows, but there's plenty of new and returning series premiering this summer to not just tide you over until the fall, but completely entertain you.

(Hint: It's someone we know from her past.) And was anyone hit? We long for the simpler days in Agrestic, but at this point, we're curious if Nancy will ever get what's coming to her.

With a sunny new locale to kick things off (they shot in Puerto Rico), "Smallville" and "V" alum Laura Vandervoort joining the cast, likely as a new love interest for Neal (Matt Bomer), and Mekhi Phifer stopping by to play a federal agent, this season sounds especially steamy.

This post-Civil War drama returns, and former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) is still out to find the Union soldiers who made his life a living hell.

This much-anticipated spin-off of "The Closer" will hopefully make the loss of that fan-favorite show a little easier on viewers with continuing characters, including Mary McDonnell's Captain Sharon Raydor and G.W. Bailey's Detective Lt. Louie Provenza.
"Boss" Season 2 premiere
Fri., Aug. 17, 10 p.m. ET on Starz
Kelsey Grammer's drama wasn't exactly a ratings hit, but it did score some Golden Globe love and a second season pickup before the first season even premiered. We ended last season on election day, but this season Mayor Tom Kane promises that he will tear it all down if needed -- and if his disease doesn't take him down first.
"Married to Jonas" series premiere
Sun., Aug. 19, 10 p.m. ET on E!
The latest couple to share their married life on reality TV: Kevin Jonas and his wife, Danielle. Other JoBro cameos are all but guaranteed.
"Hotel Hell" series premere
Originally slated to premiere in June, Fox moved it to later this summer, TBD
And now, a new Gordon Ramsay show ("Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef" just aren't enough for some) to complete what Fox has dubbed the "Summer of Gordon." This one follows him as he whips ailing hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts into shape.
