A 14-year-old Tennessee boy was arrested Friday in connection with about 100 break-ins in the Nashville area -- armed with a knife, some gloves and a getaway go-kart.
The unidentified teen kicked in doors and stole video games, flat screen TVs and anything else he could find, WSMV reported. Then he'd hop on his go-kart and fly through back alleyways to the next house.
Cops said the boy had been breaking into houses in several neighborhoods over two years.
"He's tested the waters and tested our resources, definitely," said Metro Police Lt. Horace Temple. "He was an innovative individual."
The boy had already been convicted of looting two homes late last year, according to WKRN.
His name was not released because he is a minor. Police dubbed him the "Go-Kart Bandit" when they learned of his mini getaway vehicle.
The teen has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools and loitering during school hours, the New York Daily News reported.
He's out on bail.
