Kacy Christine Wilson, Former Teacher, Allegedly Had Sex With 16-Year-Old Student In School Closet

Kacy Christine Wilson, a 28-year-old former teacher at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Fla., is being accused of pulling a 16-year-old student out of class and then leading him to a closet to have sex, WOFL-TV reports.

According to a police report obtained by WOFL, Wilson called the unnamed teenager's teacher to claim he had left something in her classroom. The incident allegedly occurred when he arrived at her room.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that detectives began investigating a possible relationship between Wilson and one of her students in October. At the time, she refuted the accusations, resigned from her position and then moved to Colorado.

But last month, the victim admitted to the relationship, leading to Wilson's arrest in Colorado, after which she was extradited back to Osceola County and is now held on $85,000 bond.

Back in April, 29-year-old Jeffrey R. Sears Jr. allegedly had sex with 15 and 16-year-old students in the classroom, in his car and at his home. He was also accused of having a "sexual encounter" with a student in a school stairwell.

The Baltimore Sun reported that the encounters -- for which prosecutors pursued a 10-year-sentence -- occurred over a two-year period.

• Stefanie Dickinson

  Colorado school board member Stefanie Dickinson was charged with Internet luring of a child in September after she was caught sexting a 14-year-old boy. The boy reportedly told police he became uncomfortable after she would show up at his football games and tell him how sexy his smile was.   As a substitute teacher in L.A.'s second-largest school district, George Hernandez was investigated three times for sexual misconduct with students. • Lauren Redfern

  Colorado high school physical education teacher and basketball coach Lauren Redfern was charged with sexual assault on a child by a person of a position of trust with a pattern of sexual abuse after suspicions arose that she was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student over the course of 4 months. • Heather Whitten Whitten, a 38-year-old teacher at Williams Intermediate School in Alabama, was arrested in February 2012 for allegedly raping a male student between the ages of 12 and 16. Cops said that the crime did not occur on school grounds.

The media certainly promotes a double-standard. Reverse the genders of the teacher and student and you would hear terms such as "rape" and "exploitation" rather than "sex" and "relationship". The alleged behaviors of the suspect in this case ARE exploitative, predatory, and completely inappropriate. The same would be true in almost any teacher-student relationship where there is no balance of power/authority/responsibility.

Innocent until proven guilty, but please remember that an underage child cannot legally consent to "sex". It is statutory rape.

regardless if this teacher may in fact be guilty or not. what about the student who one minute claims this never happened then the next claiming it did. Where is the evidence b/c frankly pictures on a cell phone isnt substantial evidence. I hope she isnt guilty and that the TRUTH comes out. its a shame for the "Adults" who are on here wishing that "cool" stuff like this happened at their high school need a little help....Maybe some Dr.Phil...Creeps.

This is the newest witch hunt. Boys lie, all girls know it. Wink at one in high school and he will tell the world the two of you swapped spit. The media and the police though now run on innuendos and adolescent fantasies gone amuck and call it good evidence. Teachers are being arrested, their families scandalized, their lives ruined on hearsay. Is their any solid proof? Does the teacher have any history of this? Or can any teacher suddenly over night have desires so strong they will destroy everything to have sex in a closet? If I were a student in high school today and my teacher was going to give me an F I would simply get him alone after class and then tell the world he asked me for sex for an A. The whole world would believe me.I would be popular, my parents would coddle me and the F would be all forgotten about. If I were a teacher I would only work with student's of the same sex to avoid any unforeseen rumors that maybe, might, could, pop up. Oh yea I forgot, that won't protect me because then they would simply tag the gay word onto their headlines. No more innocent until proven guilty, not if you are a teacher. Don't we remember the poor child care workers who were called satanist and child molesters in the 80's who were later found innocent. It was due to this same witch hunt mentality.

I graduated from high school at the right time because female teacher and male student sex is starting to get out of control. Back when I was in high school if I had been in a relationship with a middle aged female teacher my face would be on the 6:00 news not the teacher. Life is unfair people.
