'Mad Men': Alexis Bledel Has An Affair With Pete; Fans React On Twitter

'Mad Men': Everybody Hates Pete (On Twitter)

On this week's installment of "Mad Men" (Sundays, 10 p.m. ET on AMC), Pete Campbell confirmed an age-old proverb: Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Through the series' five seasons, Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) hasn't been the most beloved character -- see his attempt to blackmail Don (Jon Hamm) and his child out of wedlock with Peggy (Elisabeth Moss). But it seems Pete, who is now a husband and father, has become the villain that "Mad Men" fans love to hate even more than Roger (John Slattery).

In Season 5, Episode 8, entitled "Lady Lazarus," Pete outdid himself by hooking up with his commuter friend Howard's wife in Howard's home. It was a new low for the man who has long brought the "Mad Men" Creep-O-Meter to new levels. (And the fact that the wife in question was played by former "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel, better known as Rory Gilmore, only made the "creep" factor even worse.)

"Mad Men" fans won't be drawing hearts on windows for the increasingly despicable Pete any time soon. Instead, find out what viewers had to say about him on Twitter, including comparisons to Joffrey on "Game of Thrones."
