You have yet to provide any evidence whatsoever that Elizabeth Warren has advantaged herself in any  way, misrepresented herself in any way, or has been anything but exceptional and forthright in her outstanding achievements based on any fact to do with the actions of individuals in 1837.

This juvenile mudslinging by the incumbent reveals a regrettable bankruptcy of his ideas, and doesn't in the slightest hide the unfortunate war he is waging in consort with Republicans against women, consumers, the middle  class and now college students. His desperation has become palpable.

Here is the fact...to claim minority status or minority ancestry......with 1/32nd of DNA...is plain wrong and an affront to minorities who have actually been on the receiving end of discrimination.

This kind of lame issue might play in OK TX FL but we are talking about MA. I moved out to MA about a year ago. Most of these folks actually value using their brain as opposed to lapping up any media BS that plays to their blindspots. They have their blindspots here but this flimsy issue aint it. These folks will decide based on their own self interest based on some level of discrimination.

As far as Elizabeth Warren's ancestry goes it feels to me like one of those family things passed onto to each generation. There is no doubt in my mind that she believed it. That is what the voters here have to decide that give a hoot about this issue. Did SHE believe it or not? Dig a little into her personality and behavior and nobody with an iota of objectivity is going to take her as some slimy type who does and says whatever is in their self interest to say at any give time. These Republicon boobs are quite desperate to find the slightest slimmest issue they can to criticize her strength which is her character. I suspect her personal life is that of a boring do gooder. I cant wait to vote for this lady in November. Then if she wins, watch the big banks and Wall St. squirm as she focuses like a laser beam on making their live miserable. LIke vampires they hate being put in the spotlight.

I really wasnt suggesting she is a lock to win. This is a close race but I trust that most people around here will not be swayed by this issue. To me its a just another phony Repub talking point for someone who wants to find a justification to dislike Warren who is looking for a reason to not vote for her, they can jump on this bandwagon. I still believe many voters here will see through the BS element of this issue.

But, at this point, we now know the facts. Warren did not game the system. She got where she is by hard work and a great deal of (probably innate) intelligence. So this was much ado about nothing, which Brown would have know if he'd looked into it in advance. He took a political shot instead. More evidence that the man has no integrity. What I don't get is why you, most likely an average consumer, opposes a woman who wants to become a champion for consumers in favor of the Senator who has taken in more campaign cash from Wall Street than anyone else. Are you super rich, or just hurting all of us as you shoot yourself in the foot?

In the latest on the Ms. Warren's troubles: "the most stunning discovery about the life of O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford is that her husband, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee—the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837.

In that Elizabeth Warren has absolutely excelled. Hence the source of the incumbent's fear, that there is little to dirty her with. Yet that oddly seems not to stop the attempt. This from the man who criticized Warren for donations to her campaign from outside of MA.

US Senator Scott Brown collected more itemized campaign donations from New York City than from any other city in America, including Boston and others in Massachusetts, during the first three months of this year, a Globe analysis of federal campaign records shows.

Brown raised $141,520 in itemized contributions from New York in the first three months, compared with $138,640 from Boston, his second-biggest fund-raising city for the quarter, according to the federal records.

Two other cities outside of Massachusetts, Boca Raton and Palm Beach, Fla., rank number four ($56,550) and five ($50,550) on Brown’s list of top fund-raising hubs during the first three months of 2012, the most recent fund-raising period.

Maybe Scotty is flapping about this non-issue again today to deflect attention away from his lockstep vote today with the GOTP on student loan debt?? I'm calling this a non-issue because thatt's the way I see it from my own perspective as a MA voter and also from conversations I have had with others here. I also would add that although the Pick-Up Truck Senator has been pushing this for about 2 weeks, recent polls have found the race at a tie, unchanged since this silliness started. Maybe the Brown Barn Coat could get back to something relevant??

Go back and read that article again. First, it was about New York CITY, not the state. And what it said was that he received more money from donors in New York City than from donors in any individual city or town in Massachusetts. But, that is only counting contributions of $200 or more.
