After Christina Aguilera cat fights, some stellar and not-so-stellar performances, and many more Purrfect moments, "The Voice" has crowned its Season 2 winner: Jermaine Paul, representing Team Blake.

Team Cee Lo's Juliet Simms came in second; Team Adam's Tony Lucca came in third; and Team Christina's Chris Mann came in fourth.

Season 2 winner Jermaine -- a former back-up singer for Alicia Keys -- was the last man standing in Tuesday's Season 2 finale on NBC, which boasted celebrity performances, plus more songs from the four finalists and other favorite former contestants.

After hearing "The Voice" host Carson Daly announce his name, Jermaine thanked those important to him and hugged his family members, friends, fellow contestants and the other judges, before taking the stage one last time for an emotional encore performance of R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly," which he sang on Monday's episode.

There was plenty of entertainment between fillers about Cee Lo's now-famous cat and giving the finalists each a Kia, including the world premiere performance of Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" and some NBC crossover sketches with "Parks and Recreation" (Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET) and "Saturday Night Live" (Saturday at 11:35 p.m. ET).

Jermaine was the first to perform in the finale, taking on The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" with eliminated contestants Jamar Rogers, James Massone and Pip, all clad in gold suits. Then Juliet Simms took the stage with Flo Rida for the latter portion of his mashup of "Whistle," which also made its world premiere, and "Wild Ones." Chris Mann called on Lindsey Pavao and Katrina Parker to sing "Bitter Sweet Symphony" by The Verve for his final performance. Next, Daryl Hall and John Oates took us back with "Rich Girl." Four female cast-offs from "The Voice" -- Cheesa, Sera Hill, Naia Kete and Kim Yarborough -- sang Stevie Wonders' "Superstition." Then Juliet brought back Jamar again, RaeLynn and Erin Willett for a version of "A Little Help from My Friends." And finally -- before Bieber closed out the evening's performances --Lady Antebellum sang and Tony Lucca had Jordis Unga take the stage with him for "Go Your Own Way" by Fleetwood Mac.

Clarification: This post previously identified the cover of "A Little Help From My Friends" as being similar to the version by Joe Cocker. The original song is of course by the Beatles; we just thought this one had a bit more of the Cocker swagger.
