Tuesday brought sad news with the announcement that famed children's author Maurice Sendak had passed away.
Sendak was best known for his 1963 children's book Where The Wild Things Are. Whether college students fell in love with it reading the book as a child, or by rediscovering it when the 2009 Spike Jonze film was released, Sendak was an icon who taught people to embrace their imagination.
