Jon Stewart Mocks Mitt Romney For Stealing Obama's Credit (VIDEO)

WATCH: Stewart Mocks Romney For Stealing Credit

An obstacle in running for president against someone who's already served a term in office is finding ways to criticize the things they've done right. But it seems that Mitt Romney has found an ingenious tactic for avoiding that problem altogether: taking credit for Obama's successes.

In an interview with WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Romney stated that he'd "take a lot of credit" for the success of Obama's auto industry bailout because he "pushed the idea of managed bankruptcy."

So on Tuesday night's "Daily Show," Jon Stewart decided to apply that logic to other aspects of the Romney campaign.

For instance, the decision to kill Osama bin Laden:

As a boy, Mitt Romney marched with Martin Luther King... And as a direct result, the barriers that could've kept a certain young black man out of law school fell away. So without Romney's help America would never have elected its first Black president, which means that said Black president would have never given the order to kill Osama bin Laden, so who killed Osama bin Laden?

Is it airtight logic? Of course not.

But will that stop Romney from continuing to use it in his campaign? Only time will tell.
