Chris Christie's 'New Jersey Comeback' Is A 'Myth,' Dem Says

The head of the Assembly Budget Committee today said Gov. Chris Christie’s "New Jersey Comeback is a myth rather than a reality" following a report that revenues failed to meet expectations in the critical month of April.

"With unemployment at 9 percent and property taxes higher than ever, Gov. Christie needs to put this ‘comeback’ silliness aside and confront the harsh reality of his fiscal policies and the burden they’ve placed on New Jersey’s middle-class and seniors," Assemblyman Vincent Prieto (D-Hudson), chair of the budget committee, said in a statement.

Gov. Gassbag loves lower taxes, but we just got slapped with $5.000.- assessment for sewer repair in our township. Where did property taxes go all these years? Why was not enough money put aside for infrastructure?

Perhaps he can find more teachers, firefighters, policemen to lay off. After that, he can kick more nursing home people to the streets, further destroy the public schools, and at the same time take care of his wealthy citizens. Every destructive act by this guy will come home to roost.
