Girl Scout Cookie Candy Bars Taste Test

Taste Test: Girl Scout Cookie Candy Bars

Back in February, we learned of the future existence of Girl Scout Candy Bars. Well, folks, their debut is almost here (June 1), and we've gotten a sneak peek at the three (three!) different flavors.

It was pretty unanimous that these bars are pretty great. While previous HuffPost Food taste tests have been met with mixed feelings or disgust at some of the various new foods we sample, we really don't have many negative things to say about these glorious hybrids of Nestle Crunch bars and Girl Scout cookies. Our only very minor complaint was that two of the flavors -- Peanut Butter Creme and Caramel & Coconut -- didn't actually say what cookie they were (Tagalongs and Samoas).

This year is the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts and the first year the candy bars on the market. Last year, the Girl Scouts sold $760 million in cookies. The candy bars will be sold from June to September in stores nationwide.

Check out our thoughts on each of the flavors:

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story referred to the Peanut Butter Creme candy bars as containing Do-Si-Dos, rather than Tagalongs.
