Leslie Sandoval, Homeless Man Charged In Killing, Offers To Reveal Location Of Victim's Foot In Exchange For Deal

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) -- A homeless man charged with killing and dismembering his friend says he can't remember much about the crime.

But in a jailhouse interview, Leslie Sandoval told the Anderson Independent-Mail (http://bit.ly/M9Rvgn) he remembers where he put the victim's missing left foot and is willing to tell a prosecutor if she will make him a deal.

Sandoval says he went on a January drinking binge with Seth Foster. Foster's torso was found under an Anderson home, and his head, hands and right foot were found different places.

Sandoval says he is confused about exactly what happened. But he disagrees with a coroner's finding he beat Foster and denies a claim from investigators that he confessed and gave them the knife used to dismember Foster.

.... you know as messed up and cold as this sounds this is why things like torture don't seem so out there to me. He as good as said 'I did it' since he knows where the body pieces are, and wants to make a deal to get less of a sentence? Put him away and throw out the key, or let the punishment fit the crime and take him out of the picture to. Either way he needs to get the fullest sentence possible, he seems pretty shameless to even ask such a thing.

Take him to the hospital under guard. Strap him down, promise that if he reveals the location of the foot. His private parts won't be surgically removed. Thats the deal.
