'The X Factor' Judges: Demi Lovato Signs Deal (REPORT)

Demi Lovato Reportedly Signed 'X Factor' Deal

Demi Lovato will officially be judging "The X Factor," TMZ has exclusively learned.

According to the website, after weeks of speculation, Lovato has signed a deal to judge "The X Factor" Season 2 and will be in New York to make the official announcement during Fox's upfronts presentation on Monday, in which the network's upcoming shows will be revealed.

"The X Factor" began searching for two new judges -- and two hosts -- after Season 1 when judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger along with host Steve Jones were given the boot. Cowell began searching for replacement judges and hosts almost immediately.

Rumored judges also included big names like Miley Cyrus and LeAnn Rimes. Fox has yet to confirm any news about Spears or Lovato ... nor has the network named a new host -- or hosts -- that will be taking the stage in Season 2 after Steve Jones was dropped along with Abdul and Scherzinger. "Glee" star Darren Criss recently shut down rumors about hosting the show, while George Clooney's current love interest, former wrestler Stacy Kiebler, is said to be in talks to host as well.

Fergie shut down rumors that she was judging "The X Factor" in Season 2, as did Janet Jackson.
