Countless musicians -- from Coldplay to the Red Hot Chili Peppers -- and celebrities have paid tribute to honor Adam "MCA" Yauch, the late Beastie Boy, who died earlier this month after a battle with cancer.

However, Portland filmmaker James Winters had a different idea in mind: He enlisted his young children (and his nephew) to recreate the Beastie Boys' iconic video for "Sabotage."

The result is an endearing tribute to one of the defining voices in hip-hop music. It's a faithful remake of the original video, which was directed by Spike Jonze in 1994 and parodied 70s-era police shows. In Winters' tribute, the kids don funny wigs and bushy Tom Selleck-esque 'staches, enjoy a mid-video donut break and even get to play with toy guns. The only thing missing from the original video is the cocaine, which is suitably replaced with pop rocks.

Watch the MCA tribute above and compare it to the Beastie Boys' original video for "Sabotage," below.
