First Posted: 02/27/2012 9:00 am   Updated: 05/17/2012 12:25 pm

A home cook's repertoire is a precious thing. When we find a recipe we love, we tuck it away, we memorize it and we make it our own. It's a creative process that we get to enjoy in a tangible way -- on our plates. And when we're in a bind, like most nights of the week when a quick dinner is needed, we turn to our trusty repertoire and cook our handful of recipes again and again.

Often, we cook them until they've almost entirely lost their appeal. To help you find some new inspiration with your dinner dishes, we've put together 50 chicken recipes with 50 different flavors. From Asian barbecue glaze to buttermilk fried chicken, we have a great many recipes for you to choose from.

Huffington Post should change their name to Rerun Post... Come on all ready with recycling the same article or receipe over and over again. Just because you take a break for a day or two does not make an old story new!

"Never cook the same chicken again " right . once should be enough .

Haahah...I had to go back and re-read the teaser line. "Never cook the same chicken again"???? Ya think the writer meant "Never cook chicken the same again"?

I just love the headline on AOL: "Never Cook The Same Chicken Again".

Food is so personal, don't you think?

Most sound good but I won't try the ones with mustard and I will skip any chicken dish cooked with tomatoes. There is something about the ones I have tried we don't like.

Are you living on the same planet I live on? My mom lived to be 96, passed 5 months ago, loved chicken and never had cancer anywhere on or in her body. Mom died of "natural" causes.

And Living causes death.. yes, if we don't pay attention to where our food is coming from it can cause lots of problems. This is why I used to raise my own chickens... on grain I could trust. I also used to have egg layers, again paying lots of attention to what they ate.
Now I buy hormone free, anti-biotic free, free range chickens... it doesn't have to be "organic", and it is sold at most stores. To me it's worth the extra effort and cost. So... there's nothing wrong with chicken, it's how they are raised that matters. Anyway... Arsenic is "natural" ... go figure.

Wow, how special and not the average I'm sure. Passing away naturally is so rare. It really makes you wonder what causes cancer?

I buy the hormone free, free range (stress free), and fed organic veg diet. It's worth the couple of dollars if that more.

And where is the Cucumber Cherry Salad recipe?!? I hate when they do that - reference something-or-other in the recipe, and then there's no link or information on how to get to it. Fail.

I found it; sounds interesting.

Where is the nutrition information for all of these recipes? That's a big factor if I want to make the dish or not.

the only high calorie ingredients would be oils, cream, butter, or frying anything.

That is important to those watching fat and calories but what about those of us who need to watch carbs and sugar? Or heart patients who need to watch sodium. I love recipes and food but absolutely need to know these things to be healthy (and live).

This is a great post.
We usually arrive home from work and no dinner is even started,
both of us love to eat chicken, and it cooks fast
so we often have some kind of cooked chicken.
We need new ideas and good new recipes to try,
