Kelly Ripa says Regis Philbin hated "Beautiful Baby Week" On "Live!"

Kelly Ripa stopped by "Late Show" (Weeknights, 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS) Monday night and chatted about her on-going search for a new "Live! With Kelly" co-host.

Ripa's been fronting the show with a series of guest hosts since Regis Philbin retired in November 2011, and as she reminisced about working with Reege she let slip that there were some features on "Live!" that he just couldn't get along with.

Such as? While Philbin "didn’t mind honoring the teachers," she told David Letterman, "he hated Beautiful Baby Week. He didn’t really like Pet Week. He didn’t understand Back-To-School, Prom Fashion Week and any of that."

He didn't like Beautiful Baby Week? She elaborated: "He did not like Beautiful Baby Week. He didn’t like it. He felt all the kids looked the same."

"Live! With Kelly" airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for time. "Late Show With David Letterman" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
