Elin Nordegren, Boyfriend Break Up

Elin Nordegren is reportedly single again.

People magazine reported Wednesday that Nordegren, Tiger Woods' ex-wife, broke things off with her businessman boyfriend Jamie Dingman in January.

"She says Jamie's a great guy –- and they're still friends –- but I think it was just too early [after the divorce] for her to get serious with anyone," an unnamed source told the magazine.

The 32-year-old former model reportedly began dating the investor last summer, though the couple had kept a low-key profile since.

Nordegren, now a part-time college student studying psychology, was last linked to a 35-year-old South African student whom she met at the Florida college where they both were studying.

Nordegren finalized her divorce from Woods in August 2010, after the golfer's numerous extramarital affairs came to light.

Woods' ex reportedly received $110 million and joint custody of couple's two children in the divorce settlement. She and kids Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel live in North Palm Beach, Florida, according to People.

Parents, figure it out. By most people's standards, my mother had a good reason to divorce my father. That said, it still hurts me 40 years later. I'm not saying to stay together for the kids if you're in a horrible situation. But, by all means, try to figure it out. Staying together for the children gives them better odds that their own marriages will last. Knowing that your family is still together is very reassuring years and years later.

While I sympathize with what you went through and feel your pain, studies show that parents who stay together for the sake of their kids hurt them in the long run worse than if they had divorced in the first place.

I love how you always try to "upgrade" this gold digger by calling her a "former model!" Ahem - she is former nanny to another golfer - or groupie - which put her in the circle to meet Tiger in the first place...stop hating on Tiger....by trying to make this girl a bigger "catch" then she was..

Tiger deserves all the backlash he's received. He humiliated his wife in front of the entire world by sleeping with MULTIPLE women (rather disgusting looking women.. missing teeth etc). Elin probably also went through quite the myriad of STD testing. She is a former model as is her sister. She deserves every penny Tiger ever made for putting her through that kind of torment and embarrassment. Cheating is a character flaw. Once a cheater, always a cheater. It is a defect in character.

Not necessarily. Unfortunately people tend to show a pattern in who they choose for relationships. In her case, I understand that her now ex was not that great a character either. And to those who keep calling her a gold-digger, I would argue that she has proved she is not because, rather than marrying, divorcing him, and running with a chunk of his money, she preferred to give him the boot now.
