The Season 3 finale of "The Good Wife" left viewers with more than one burning question about what's to come in Season 4.
What will happen to gun-toting Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) -- and her husband? Will Peter (Chris Noth) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) get back together? How will Cary's (Matt Czuchry) relationship with the other characters change now that he rejoined Lockhart/Gardner.
The Huffington Post caught up with Noth and Czuchry at the Gersh Agency's upfront party in New York to find out the answers some of these questions.
Noth doesn't have much hope for Peter and Alicia. When asked if his character would get involved with Alicia again, he admitted, "Probably not."
The actor also enjoyed having "Friends" alum Matthew Perry as a political archenemy, Mike Kresteva. "He's a good actor. It's like working with any good actor. Easy, fun. I hope he comes back. He makes a great nemesis," Noth said.
Perry told TVLine that his "hope" is to come back, but that might be difficult considering Perry now has his own series, NBC's "Go On," to film.
Meanwhile, Czuchry's Cary Agos is back at Lockhart/Gardner, away from the gubernatorial campaign drama.
"What's great now that Cary's back at the firm is that there's access to all of the those relationships again," he said. "In the past we've seen Cary and Alicia as competitors, and we'll now see them as collaborators. We've seen a complicated romance develop between Kalinda and Cary so that can further, and what we didn't have in the [last] season is this tension between Will [Josh Charles] and Cary. Each of those aspects are a little bit easier to get to now that they're back at the firm."
As for his small screen past, The Huffington Post had to ask if he'd seen much of recent "Mad Men" guest star Alexis Bledel, who he co-starred with on "Gilmore Girls."
"I've been watching her from afar, but I haven't talked to her personally," Czuchy admitted. "[The last time I saw her] was probably at the wrap party for 'Gilmore Girls,' which was about five years ago now. But everything about that show -- all the work that we did together -- it'll be there forever."
"The Good Wife" will return to CBS in the fall to its regular 9 p.m. ET timeslot on Sundays.
