Teens Named Nguyen Team Up For Funny Yearbook Quote About Not Being Related (PHOTO)

Their last names might not be unique, but the Nguyen ladies decided to take an original approach to their yearbook quotes.

Determined to clarify any confusion regarding their similar surnames, the teens opted to feature one- or two-word phrases beneath their high school snapshots which, when read together, create the statement: "We know what you're thinking. and no. we're not related."

Fake? Perhaps. But why let that ruin the fun?

Just wondering, who reported that this was fake? It is not the same girl from different years. Someone reported that #2 and #7 are actually twins. Supposedly, they are the only two related to each other in that picture. The picture is still funny though.

I don't know what most of you are talking about, as a (Mostly) white person, I don't think they look related at all. Similar ethnicity yeah, and let's face it, those weird wrap tops make everyone look the same, but it's a Senior year tradition for most High Schools. at least they don't get people confusing their first name with their last, like all the males in my family do (Our last name is Michael)

It doesn't matter how common or uncommon a surname is; if there are kids in the same class with it, people do wonder if they are related, whether they look alike or not.

I actually made no comment as to that, I was just mentioning how everyone was making 'the all look alike' comments and I really didn't see it. and everyone thinking your related is a lot better then my brother's high school nickname from a teacher of "Billy Bob" because she could never remember if it was "Stephen Michael" or "Michael Stephen"
