Ed Reed of the Baltimore Ravens celebrates their 20-13 win over the Houston Texans during the AFC Divisional playoff game on January 15, 2012.

Ed Reed said in a Sirius XM NFL Radio interview with Adam Schein on Thursday that he is still " not 100 percent committed" to playing football in 2012.
Ed Reed ... "Not 100% committed right now to playing this year." Concerned about his health and long term future.
Best line from Reed today: “They’ll know about it after this interview, just like they knew Flacco was a little rattled."
The Baltimore Ravens star had been
reportedly wavering early in the off-season, but said last month that he would be playing this upcoming season, though he could change his mind.
perhaps he is changing his mind, something the Ravens probably hadn't exactly planned for, if Reed retires. A defense that already will be missing Terrell Suggs for part or even all of the season can ill afford to lose another vital cog in Reed.
