The Fox medical drama "House" came to an end after eight seasons on Monday, May 21 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
Hugh Laurie, who has starred as Dr. Gregory House, feels proud that through its eight years on the air, the show stayed true to itself.
"I feel a huge satisfaction that we got to the end with our dignity intact," he told the Associated Press. "I never felt that we did anything that wasn't true to the character or the show -- like, 'House gets a puppy.' I think that's quite an achievement."
