Every week there's someone who's both a winner and a loser, and this time it's Charlize Theron, who committed the cardinal sin of letting a dress "wear" her. But on the other side of the style tracks, she wore a sheer dress beautifully.
And we normally ignore Lady Gaga for these lists because she defies best and worst categorizations...she's literally something else. But this week we just couldn't resist the cut-out number that screamed "prom gone wrong."
Emma Thompson had something of a wardrobe malfunction, and if you haven't met the nearly-naked Micaela Schaefer this week, you should.

This is how you DON'T do sheer (for a good example see Charlize Theron). This dress looks moldy. And don't you always get the sense that she'd rather be in jeans and Converse--and we wish she'd just embrace that and own it.
London, May 14 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)
What can we possibly say about this video tape dress? And we don't need to--you're not even concentrating on this caption.
Berlin, May 14 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)
We've never seen a trapezoid-shaped dress before!
Hollywood, May 14 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)

We love slouchy pants on the red carpet because they're so unexpected, but these could have used some hemming. The print of the top is interesting, but let's discuss that sheer wardrobe malfunction. Her hair looks good, though!
London, May 16 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)
It seems the more successful the designer/stylist gets, the more conservatively she dresses. Snooze.
Pacific Palisades, May 15 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)
She's wearing all the trends at once: peplum, sheer, asymmetrical hemlines, layering, ombre mini. Enough already!
Beverly Hills, May 15 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)
This would have made a cute swimsuit, but as is, it just looks cheap. Very Miss Universe 1986.
Berlin, May 14 (Photo Credit: Getty Images)
