  • Joey Ramone, '... ya know?'

Joey Ramone's second solo album is a posthumous collection of previously unheard, and incomplete, material he recorded in the last 15 years of his life. His brother, Mickey Leigh, rallied Joan Jett, Little Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band and others to complete the songs and compiled them into an album, <i>... ya know?</i>, out Tuesday. Get a peek of the results on the track "Rock and Roll Is the Answer" to the left.

  • 'Moonrise Kingdom'

Wes Anderson's latest, co-written by Roman Coppola, features an all-star cast including Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman. The film's struggle surrounds two unknowns -- Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman -- who, in the film, play young (we mean about 12-year-old young) lovers who run away from their New England homes together. "Moonrise Kingdom" opens in limited release Friday, May 25.

  • National Tap Dance Day

Get out your dancing shoes! Friday is National Tap Dance Day, a government-recognized holiday that was signed into law on the <a href="http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1083/is_5_75/ai_74293880/" target="_hplink">agreed-upon date</a> of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Robinson" target="_hplink">Bill "Bojangles" Robinson</a>'s birthday. There's no nationwide, concerted effort for Tap Day, so you could either find yourself at a "<a href="http://www.newyorker.com/arts/events/dance/2012/05/28/120528goda_GOAT_dance" target="_hplink">Tap Extravaganza</a>," or tapping all by your lonesome, depending on the tap community in your area.

He's a cross between hipster content and Kubrick style filmmaking.

Wes Anderson provides my kind of escapism, I fall in love with his movies and never want to leave the world of his imagination. For me, "Moonrise Kingdom" is a summer blockbuster, can't wait.
