'Django Unchained' At Cannes: First Footage From Quentin Tarantino's Newest Debuts (PHOTOS)

Just another reason to be jealous about the fact that you aren't at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival: The Weinstein Company debuted footage from three of its highly anticipated fall releases on Monday: David O. Russell's "The Silver Linings Playbook," Paul Thomas Anderson's "The Master" and -- perhaps best of all -- Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained."

Starring Jamie Foxx as the title unchained slave seeking revenge against the man who kidnapped his wife, "Django Unchained" is due out in theaters on Christmas Day. The Weinstein Company showed seven minutes of the film, which reportedly included Tarantino's signature violence, as well as his penchant for recasting pop songs in new milieus. In "Django," it's the James Brown song "Big Payback" that gets the Tarantino treatment.
