I thought the decision thing was overdone and tacky and rubbed Cleveland's face in it. But if that's the worst you can say about someone....

I don't understand the hate for LeBron. The Decision was set up to bring $6 million to various charities. That's why he did it the way he did it. Sure it seemed like a waste of time and over hyped just to find out he was going to Miami. But one of the main reasons it was hyped was to spike an interest so they could get that charity money.

What other athlete can spark enough interest to garner $6 million in charity in one event?

And also, I think he's a class act. He practically had the Pacers trying to pick fights with him all game long and he handled himself with class, respect and dignity, letting his game speak, and not his emotions. Sure he should take the game winning shots sometimes and doesn't, but that's no reason to hate him.

LeBron James is a brilliant athlete and a stellar human being.

why would HP post this garbage? Jeez, it is hard enough to stay calm and get some joy out of life, then HP comes along and puts out a story one who everyone HATES in sports?

With the hatred flying like you-know-what in the fan for Obama, isn't there just enough hatred to go around?

frankly, i'd rather see more promotion of arianna than stuff like this.

It's the way he went about his exit from Cleveland with the ESPN produced "the decision." That ruffled a lot of feathers. Can't blame him a bit for wanting out of Cleveland though. What a depressing city.

No braver than any of her fellow competitors.  Ms. Patrick has been rude and always a bundle of excuses for her increasingly poor showings.  Katherine Legge and Sarah Fisher are woman drivers who let their performances do the talking.

I cant even take people seriously who hate Lebron still...hate him for leaving Cleveland, for the way he left, for the fact that he went somewhere to play with friends, on and on and on...the biggest justification I heard for this hate was from someone in Cleveland...his point was that many people in Cleveland have no real opportunity to leave, even if they want to, options simply arent there...the fact that this local boy was so loved for staying there by choice was bound to turn to loathing and hatred if he ever left...he did and they do. nuff said.

I call him LeFlop & hate him for that reason. He is one of the most talented players ever yet he feels the need to game the refs whenever possible and cry like a two year old when he doesn't get the bogus calls.

Let's go down memory lane and refresh, shall we? Here is a list of LeQuit's accomplishments in Cleveland. Remember, this was all done under the "give me what I want or else I will leave banner he put in management's face for 7 years. LeQuit

- demanded a practice facility be built closer to home
- demanded a new locker room as the current locker room was a whole 2 years old
- demanded the aquisition of Laura Hughes, then Moe Williams
- demanded a contract extension for Z
- nixed a trade for Stoudemire
- nixed a trade involving Gibson
- demanded Coach Brown be hired
- demanded Coach Brown be given an extension
- demanded Coach Brown be fired
- demanded a paid job for his high school associates
- demanded unfettered access to practice facilities and the Q for his family and friends
- refused to help recruit free agents
- refused to help recruit Brown's replacement

Lebron's promises to fans was clear. When asked shortly before the decision, by fans, if he would stay, Lebron lifted his shirt, showed his tattoo that said, "LOYALTY," and continually gave fans the impression he would stay and make good on the promise to bring Cleveland its first championship in nearly 50 years.

Then he went peepee on them on national TV, condemned all who didnt support his choice and informed all that he was keeping a list, revelled in the Cavs string of losses telling his former team (who

You do know you made alot of that up.

His last year in cleaveland he went from city to city saying i will not decide until the off season.

Question... did he break his contract? Did he not live up to the contractual obligations? did he do anything wrong by choosing MIAMI or CLE?
