An ambitious YouTube user has re-made two of Radiohead's best albums as 8-bit soundtracks.
Thanks to QuintonSung, fans can now enjoy Kid A and OK Computer as they were never meant to be heard -- like the backing tracks to the coolest, most obscure warp worlds in Super Mario Brothers.

Both albums are available in their entirety, and come complete with familiar Nintendo noises -- twinkling coins and crumbling bricks, to name a couple -- and at their best imaginatively capture the essence of the Radiohead tracks.
Super-fans beware: the limitations of the medium preclude a faithful rendition of the originals. If accuracy is important, then the OK Computer offspring sound a little closer to their parent tunes. But it's still pretty amazing to consider how much thought went into this project.
Enjoy the chiptune maelstrom of "Paranoid Android" and the brilliantly nuanced bit-crushed version of "Fitter, Happier." And if the charms of Radiohead wear thin, remember to check out two Daft Punk albums that also got the 8-bit treatment.
