Andrea Mitchell: Rush Limbaugh Is A 'Bully'

MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell called Rush Limbaugh "a bully" in a new interview with More magazine.

The piece comes on the heels of a tremendous round of news-making for the MSNBC host. Mitchell grilled Susan G. Komen chief Nancy Brinker after the organization moved to end funding for Planned Parenthood, hosted Foster Friess when he made his controversial comments about contraception, and interviewed Sandra Fluke immediately after her call from President Obama.

Mitchell reflected on those episodes and the debate on women's health issues in the interview, which comes out in the June issue of More. Recalling the moments before Fluke's appearance on her show, she praised the Georgetown law student and called Limbaugh out.

"The vulnerability of this woman who had unwillingly, just by standing up, become part of a national debate where her reputation was being sullied by a bully with a megaphone — that just really touched me," Mitchell told the magazine. Fluke had made headlines after Limbaugh called her a "prostitute" and a "slut" for testifying in a contraception hearing.
