Kids for years have sat too close to the television for too long or played hours of Madden on family room game players. But pediatric neuroscientists and researchers who have studied the effects of screen-time on children suggest the iPad is a different beast.

They zone out. Just like they would looking at a dog, cat, book, shoe string, cartoon, patterns in a carpet, rattle......

Call in the trial attorneys. My iPad made my little genius autistic. My iPhone caused junior's eye to cross. My tablet made my baby cry......because it didn't have an Apple logo on it.

We must put warning labels on them.
