High speed police chases are incredibly stressful. Not to mention all that wear and tear on the car. Plus, there's always the gasoline factor. Eventually, it's going to run out. So while it wasn't a huge shock when the man involved in this high speed chase on "World's Wildest Police Videos" (Mon., 8 p.m. ET on Spike) stopped for gas, what happened next was certainly unexpected.

The man casually got out of his car and went for a leisurely stroll, even going so far as to light up a cigarette as he strolled along the sidewalk. To create the perfect picture, he was even wearing a bathrobe, or perhaps what he considered a smoking jacket.

So why was he so laid back while in the middle of a police chase? Surely he knew the police were on his tail. Well, when they did finally subdue him and ask him if he was on anything, he quickly answered "marijuana" before just as quickly recanting and trying to deny it.

It was one of those classic moments that simply can't be scripted, leading fans to gales of laughter on Twitter as they talked about the show. "World's Wildest Police Videos" is a TruTV transport, now airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Spike.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
