You may remember Kate the WASP from her visit to Occupy Wall Street. Now, she's venturing into another unfamiliar territory -- the New York neighborhood of Harlem, known for a cultural makeup that a downtown gal like Kate may not fully understand.

She joins the locals on the basketball court, which unfortunately does not have a ladies locker room where she can freshen up. But she learns a thing or two about what it means to inject yourself into a world you don't understand. In fact, maybe we all learned something about ourselves in the process. And also... America.
