Darth Vader Robs Bank, Flees On Bike In Ohio

Darth Vader robbed a bank in Ohio on Wednesday.

Just be glad this guy's not your father.

A man wearing a Darth Vader mask robbed a Toledo, Ohio bank last week, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Vader has upgraded his weaponry, too: he was carrying a semi-automatic pistol, according to NewsNet5.com.

He walked into Huntington Bank at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, wielding the gun and demanded money from the tellers, NBC 4i reported.

The perp made off on a BMX bike, presumably toward the Death Star.

Witnesses described the suspect as black, in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants and the mask.

Vader's been striking back at banks for years. In 2010, WPIX reported that Vader hit a New York bank, this time in a more elaborate costume, complete with a blue cape.

It's sad to see that during this difficult economy Lord Vader has to commit petty crimes to obtain funds but to be fair those lightsabers must be expensive and so must those Stormtroopers (even if they couldn't hit the ground if they threw a rock). And forget about those Deathstars that those kids keep blowing up they must cost a fortune.

It's sad to see a Hollywood icon like Vader reduced to this in what should be his golden years. Lousy Hollywood profit sharing.... Vader probably didn't get a dime from video sales or merchandise. The poor guy's riding a bike, probably eating cat food. We all know his breathing isn't too good.

Is there any video of Vader mentally choking the unfortunate bank teller? Was there a hold up note? "Dont' try anything funny. The Force is with me. I have a light saber."
