DownRightNow reports that Gmail is experiencing "possible service trouble."
A Google rep told BetaBeat that users won't be locked out of their accounts for long. From BetaBeat:
If you’re seeing a ‘Temporary Error’ message when you try to sign in to Gmail, it means that your mail is temporarily unavailable. These errors generally resolve themselves within a few minutes, so please wait a bit before trying to log in again. Please note that while Gmail is inaccessible, your messages and personal information are safe.
