Harrison Ford 'Blade Runner' Sequel Appearance Possible Says Ridley Scott

'That'd Be Amusing': Ridley Scott Talks Harrison Ford In 'Blade Runner 2'

Harrison Ford may appear in the sequel to "Blade Runner."

That's the Internet takeaway from a tossed off comment by Ridley Scott during an interview with The Independent.

While promoting the upcoming "Alien" non-prequel prequel "Prometheus," Scott briefly discussed his planned sequel to "Blade Runner," the seminal 1982 classic that starred Ford.

"I don't think it'll be Harry [starring]," Scott said when asked about the sequel. "But I've got to have him in it somewhere. That'd be amusing."

Of course, if Ford does return, it would surprise no one. Back in February of this year, rumors surfaced that the star was in discussions to join the new "Blade Runner," but whether that comes to pass remains to be seen.

In the meantime, Scott is busy promoting "Prometheus," which is out in theaters next week. His next film, the star-studded "The Counselor," with Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz, will start shooting this summer.
