Lollapalooza Sells Out: 2012 Single-Day Festival Passes Completely Sold Out (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

Lollapalooza Now Completely Sold Out Save Pricey Packages

Following the previous news that its three-day and Saturday passes were already completely scooped up, it should come as no surprise that, as of this weekend, all passes of any kind to Lollapalooza have sold out.

With two months to go before the Aug. 3-5 festival takes over Chicago's Grant Park, Lollapalooza sold out of the last of its passes -- one-day Sunday tickets -- over the weekend, RedEye reports.

In lieu of event-only passes, some incredibly pricey travel packages -- pairing festival entrance with posters, t-shirts and accommodations at four different downtown hotels -- do still remain up for grabs, though even some of those have also sold out as of Tuesday. The packages will set you back anywhere from $1,509 to $6,399.

As of early Tuesday afternoon, three-day festival passes -- which retailed for $230 -- are going for at least double that, and as high as $800 apiece, from trusty Craigslist vendors.

As Chicagoist points out, here's hoping the festival organizers have a plan in place for the gatecrashers that this year's lineup -- which includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, At the Drive-In, Florence and the Machine, Bassnectar, Justice, Sigur Ros, M83 and more -- are sure to attract.
