Texas billionaire T. Boone Pickens trumped Drake with his witty Twitter response.

T. Boone Pickens may be the coolest billionaire on Twitter.

The 84-year-old Texas oil tycoon responded to a tweet from rapper Drake last night with a tweet of his own. But what's memorable about the Twitter interaction is not that Pickens responded, but that he trumped the 25-year-old rapper.

Pickens strayed from his usual subject matter and re-tweeted Drake's message about becoming a millionaire with an observation of his own.

The first billion is a helluva lot harder RT @Drake: The first million is the hardest.

More than 8,200 Twitter users re-tweeted the exchange between the unlikely pair, according to Mashable.

Oddly, Pickens does not follow Drake, so why he chose to respond to the rapper is anyone's guess.

Pickens is one of the most sickening wealthy people I've ever read about.  He routinely cons the masses into supporting supposedly altruistic causes (such as wind power) in which he has significant financial investments.  That is a big part of his routine, along with insider deals in Texas with government officials and others that he bribes.  I find it hilarious that average people support this guy.  He has no shame, and is pathological by nature.  No T. Boone, a billion isn't that hard to acquire if you don't care about how you get there.

I remember the first time I the news reported about politicians tweeting...I literally haven't watch any cable news program since. It died to me that day...Though it was really just a husk of it's former self for quite some time, the news media.

I absolutely guarantee that no billionare on this planet is hoarding. The overwhelming majority of their money is invested in stocks, bonds, business ventures, etc etc. It doesn't just sit idle, which would be a problem, but rather it provides jobs for everyone by virtue of those investments.

No it's not. It would require a lot of time to make poor people productive. Consider how few people actually produce anything at all. This country is so service-oriented. Even our products just make life easier.
