Mitt Romney Releases New Ad Touting Return To Normalcy Under His Leadership

A Romney Presidency Would Return The Country To Normalcy: Ad

Mitt Romney's campaign highlighted a return to normalcy in its third television ad, released on Friday. The new spot, titled "A Better Day," continued the trend of his previous ads by pointing to what a Romney presidency would be like.

"What will be different about a Romney presidency?" the narrator asks. "From day one, President Romney focuses on the economy and the deficit, unleashes America's energy resources, and stands up to China on trade."

"But there's something more than legislation or new policy," he continues. "It's the feeling we'll have that our country's back -- back on the right track."

The Romney campaign also released a Spanish-language video of his ad for the web.

But unlike Romney's previous two TV ads, the latest makes no specific mention of President Barack Obama. Romney's campaign is in the process of booking new airtime in four battleground states -- Ohio, Virginia, Iowa and North Carolina -- Politico reported earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the Obama campaign released a new web video on Friday showing former Republican presidential candidates criticizing Romney's record as governor of Massachusetts.
