Herman Cain Radio Show: Former GOP Candidate To Replace Neal Boortz On WSB

Herman Cain's New Radio Show

Herman Cain is getting his own radio show next year, taking over for conservative radio host Neal Boortz.

WSB Radio announced Boortz's retirement after forty-two years in a statement on Monday. His last broadcast will be January 18, 2013. Cain will air his first show at 9 a.m. on Inauguration Day on January 21.

The former GOP candidate has been a daily guest on the program, which currently reaches 200 stations. WSB vice-president Dan Kearney called him as Boortz's "logical successor."

Cain praised Boortz in a statement to WSB. "I am ecstatic that Neal has kept the radio host's chair warm for me all these years," he joked. "He may be 'The TalkMaster,' but Neal's listeners know I'm the 'The Dean of the University of Common Sense.'"

CORRECTION: Herman Cain is replacing Neal Boortz on WSB, not WBS as the article originally stated.
